We went chasing for dead things, but all we found were bone shaped rocks all in the shape of your heart. I was always slightly afraid of the ocean because when I looked at its empty expanse and tilted my head to the sky I always felt dizzy, as if that open air was suffocating me slowly. And yet, with you beside me, somehow I felt less afraid. Walking carefully behind you, just in case I slipped and was pulled into the water, so I might have the courage to someday tell you how much I miss you - how much I miss this already.
