  3. Such beautiful photos! I've always wanted to go back to Chicago. I went once when I was 15 or so with my family and it was so cold that my parents didn't want to explore or do anything. :'( that trip totally just doesn't count.

    1. Thanks Cynthia. I am still terrified about the Chicago winter that everyone warns about. Lets hope I survive my first winter here! It is a really beautiful place though - I hope you get to visit again!

  4. these pictures are absolutely beautiful. I've only been to Chicago once when I was about 4 because my grandparents briefly lived there, I'm from the UK and I would love to go back from the looks of these photos xo

  11. Hey, you. I hope you're not too lonely or overwhelmed up there in Chicago. Just three hours south of you, I'm trying to put my pieces together. The noise of the traffic, of the trees in the blustery evenings, make for momentary distractions, yes. But, like you, I have a hunger. For company, I suppose. Thankfully, my two best friends (the same ones I went on the road trip with) are headed on another weekend getaway this coming weekend. We'll actually be up in Chicago! We're leaving Friday night and will come back down to Indy sometime on Sunday.
