December is foggy mornings out on the lake, and sitting aimlessly on the windowsill, watching the clouds pass by. Not much has changed in the past 3 months. The floorboards creak in the afternoon, I am still afraid of ghosts, and some days, it is hard just to leave the house. Everything is quiet and peaceful, and it is enough to drive anyone to pieces.

  2. There's something about foggy mornings that's so enchanting yet haunting. There's something about the quietude that's so tranquil yet at the same time the forlorn desolation is very disturbing.

    1. I absolutely agree. Sometimes I can't figure out if it is fog or just a cloud. Living so high up means on cloudy days, all I can see outside my window is a cloud of white.

    1. Thanks Erika! I was told that whistling in the dark attracts ghosts so I've stopped doing that now.

  5. I can totally relate, lately I haven't been leaving the house much and it's driving me a bit crazy. Staying busy would probably help keep my mind off things, but the motivation's just not there! I'm loving how dreamy your photos are, by the way :)

  6. Foggy mornings must be magical. I am from the tropics so foggy mornings exist only in my dreams.

  7. There's something about cold December mornings, more than during January or February it seems. Maybe it's just in my head. I really like these photographs, the second is astonishing!

  8. I'm legitimately afraid of ghosts. Of "actual" ghosts, and of ghosts of the past--things that may come to find me and remind me that things could've been different. I hope that you find the energy to rejuvenate over your holiday break!
