Andy Warhol, the king of soup. Leftover valentine cakes. Exotic fruits. Ancient Egyptian statues. Ladurée macron dreams.

  1. It is so weird but when you write completely normal stuff you make it sound like a beautiful poem or something. Wow, I feel like you could write a short sentence about a cat licking its paw and make it sound utterly beautiful. Are you a writer? How do you learn to write in such a beautiful style? Honestly I was nearly in tears just reading about your pear tree... hahaa.

  2. This is just one of those simple posts that I love. I'm so glad I stumbled upon you those months ago. I wish it were spring here ... we're picking up snow. Wet, sloppy, slushy snow. And yesterday ... yesterday it was not so bad. Speaking of yesterday, I think we get caught up in the past, get caught dreaming about because we are so unsure and wary of the future. How can tonight's sunset be as glorious as last night's? How can this vacation be as fantastic as last year's? We hold on to what we know, what we did experience.
