Salmon ochazuke on a cold winter day. When it comes to food, I am one of the laziest people in the world. If I’m hungry, I want instant satisfaction that doesn’t come out of a cardboard box. It’s convenient since there are always leftovers in the fridge at home. Heat up yesterday’s rice and fish, add nori and scallions, pour green tea over it and serve. A bland and simple meal, but enough to keep my brain running, which is the only that really matters. Everything else is transport.

ReplyDeleteoishiiiii =) it sounds incredible but I've never tried Ochazuke... need to try this in the next days :)
ReplyDeleteYes you must try it! It's super tasty.
DeleteAt your laziest you're still better than me! When I need a quick lunch I'd probably drive to McDonalds, which is terrible.
ReplyDeleteArgh I would too except 1. McDonald's is so far away from home and 2. I'm such a cheapskate hahhhaa
Deleteyour blog is intrinsically beautiful, i'm in awe of it.

Thanks Narumi! Happy new year to you as well <3
DeleteThis looks absolutely delicious! Even on a hot summer's day like today I wouldn't mind having it for dinner.
ReplyDeleteOh yes! You can eat it cold actually so it can be very cooling.
DeleteIt still sounds really good, and looks quite tasty as well. I used to hate leftovers for some reason, but I really enjoy them now. It's nice to have those in the fridge or freezer, ready to go. So much quicker and easier. ... however, I FAIL at using chopsticks. I am simply terrible at them.
ReplyDeleteLeftovers are the best!! I am also quite bad with chopsticks...I somehow developed my own strange way of using them and now my parents make fun of me hahahah.
DeleteOhh that looks truly delicious! :) I love ochazuke! Great photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love ochazuke as well ^__^
