I think I've been slowly turning into a classroom mouse. The one that has its nest made from pages of Shakespeare and Hemmingway and nibbles on the inky nibs of fountain pens over the weekend. Outside the window, it is summer and I think there will be another world to explore that isn't confined between brick walls and bookshelves. Sitting on the rooftop, waiting for the late train whistle at dusk, there is nothing between your dreams and that eternal sky.
Here we go, come with me. There is a world out there that we should see. Take my hand, close your eyes. With you right here I'm a rocketeer. Let's fly.

ReplyDeleteLove, love, love that second last photo :)
ReplyDeleteAt least being a classroom mouse will make you a more educated person, but I think at this time of year, we're all holed up in the big, world of learning.
xx
